18 Loaves or 260 Rolls
Whisk yeast in water until dissolved. Mix in shortning. Add flour and salt. Mix to make cohesive dough. Add more flour if needed. Rise until double. Punch down, knead again and shape make into bread or rolls. Let rise again. Bake in 300 degree oven for approximately 25 minutes. Brush with butter after baking.
